SPRING/FALL 2026 BABIES
We are in the process of carefully selecting the sire that will be contributing to making the next generation of Ravenwood Farm Highlands! We are also preparing (with the advice from our vet) for the “go ahead” on breeding. We have decided that it is best for our heifers to be AI at least for their first time pregnancies.
Below are pictures of our two heifers; Honey (D.O.B. 04/14/2024) and KoKo (D.O.B. 04/02/2024) when they were first born. Honey is a Red Mid-Size highland, and KoKo is a true “Miniature” Dun color highland. My fingers are crossed for a silver baby from Koko! The silver bull calf on the right is Ghost; our future sire to our girls. Both of his parents matured at 43” which puts them in the “mid-sized” category. We will have to wait for Ghost to reach full maturity before being able to categorize him, however we are thinking he will be mini-mid-sized.
We will be breeding all of our farm animals for babies next spring- early Fall 2026 and we can’t wait to welcome the new generation of sweet farm babies!

OUR NIGERIAN DWARF GOATS
Meet our OG Buck, LOKI. His name says trouble, but he is NOT! Loki came to us as a bottle baby, and has been raised around us humans since the second he was born. Wearing pajamas and diapers prancing through the house. He is a beautiful tri-colored NDG and he is also the calmest buck I have ever seen. Very vocal, calm demeanor, and more “doglike” than anything. He should produce very good looking babies!
