Welcome!

My name is Gabby Bronson and these are 4 of my 5 beautiful babies. They are 11, 8, 2, & 1. My oldest son is 13, but will forever be 5 in heaven.

I have been a mom since I was 18 years old and since becoming a mom I was always torn between trying to stay home to raise my kiddos, but also working as much as possible to provide for my kids. After years and years of being a bartender & server, I finally came to the decision to leave my job and to start my very own business where I am able to bring my family along with me! I was never raised on a farm, but had friends growing up that would let me visit theirs, ride their horses, and get a little taste of that farm life. For as long as I can remember I knew I was going to own a hobby farm. One filled with all the animals I was never allowed to have. 🥹 So that’s just what I did!

I recently purchased a 100 year old fixer-upper farmhouse on a few acres that I am completely renovating inside and out. Over the last year we have filled this space with a bunch of sweet animals. Some are rescues, some are from friends, some have been bought, but they are all loved very much. They each have their own special place here. Each one has a different personality & attitude! We are strictly a hobby farm here. None of our animals are used for butcher-they are simply pets! We have mini Highland Cows, KuneKune pigs, a Valais Blacknose Sheep, Nigerian Dwarf goats, Holland Lop bunnies, a mini & senior horse!

While we renovate and tear down fence, put up fence, clear land, & renovate we are NOT going to open to the public. This was a hard decision to make, but this is where my kids live and I want to ensure their privacy & safety as it is my number one priority! We do however operate our MOBILE petting zoo full time!

The goal with our small homestead was honestly to slow down. To make as much as we can from scratch, and try to become self sustaining/sufficient. (Honestly let’s laugh because one thing about doing this-is that it is 100 percent not “slow” 😅 It is a full time, all hands on deck lifestyle.) I simply want to be able to raise my babies at home and not in a daycare. I want to be able to be present for my older children that are in sports year round. I want a life that we don’t want a break from. Which is why I created our Mobile Petting Zoo business. I am able to share our farm babies & help educate others on the breeds we have came to know and love. All while raising my children with me & making my own schedule to fit theirs! Like I said earlier, we were not raised on a farm and have not been seasoned farmers. We are still learning every day. Each day is a new lesson to be learned. I honestly can’t thank my other small homesteading moms enough for all the help and encouragement along the way! You know who you are 😉
